This two day course gives you the chance to explore hand-building and develop decorative techniques on simple functional or decorative clay forms - for example tiles, platters, mugs - whilst exploring and developing a variety of methods to decorate ceramics. Techniques like slip trailing, wax resist, sgraffito, inlay or mono-printing will all be supported. Your work will then be fired and glazed with your choice from our lovely house glazes.
All work will be ready to collect 3-6 weeks after the course. You will be able to check the progress and collection dates of your work on our pot collection section on the website, and we will email you too.
This class is run by Laura Hopkins.
Clay up to 3kg is included in the course, any additional clay will be charged at £5/kg.
What to Bring:
Apron/old shirt
Small hand towel
Packed lunch (teas and coffees available) or visit one of the many cafes or shops nearby
