Wednesday, 6th August | 10AM – 12PM or 1.30PM - 3.30PM
A fun filled and creative 2 hour pottery class for kids aged 6 - 16.
Our kids classes are always lots of fun and full of creativity. In the session your child will learn various handbuilding ceramic techniques: like making pinch pots, joining clay and decorating their work. If your child has been to one of our sessions before we will help them develop their skills and ideas.
We love to support your kids own ideas, but will also have lots of inspiration and ideas available.
All pots will be made with real clay and glaze, not air dry clay; so will be ready to collect 3-6 weeks after the course. You will be able to check the progress and collection dates of your work on our pot collection section on the website, and we will email once they are ready.
This class is run by tutors Jenny and Harriet, both very experienced with working with groups of kids and teens. You are welcome to leave your child with us or you can stay to support your child if you would prefer. If you would like to participate in the session too, just book a space for yourself.
Please bring with you an apron/old shirt and hand towel, all other tools will be provided.
