Course Dates:
6 week
Friday 5th September - 17th October
*no session 10th October to allow for work to dry and be fired and allow for our annual exhibition set up.
12 week
Friday 5th September - 12th December
*no session 10th, 24th & 31st October for our annual exhibition set up and school half term.
Course description:
A fun hand-building and throwing class for teens aged 12-16.
In this class we will be spending time hand-building, throwing and decorating pots. A relaxing pottery filled afternoon, and a nice way to start the weekend.
Exploring and learning about coil pots, slab, pinch and wheel throwing.
There will be project ideas and lots of inspiration available. Looking at the work of ceramic artists, and other sources of starting points too. We also encourage you to bring lots of your own ideas too. For any GCSE students, work made in the sessions can be added to your portfolio.
Clay is included, up to 5kg for 6 weeks and 10kg 12 weeks . Any additional pots will be charged at £5/kg, which includes glazing and firing.

Terms and Conditions:
We do understand that weekly courses can be a big time commitment, and where possible we will try to offer class swaps within the course block. This isn’t something we can guarantee though. We also can’t offer drop in sessions to make up any missed classes.
Once you have made your purchase, if for any reason you decide you can no longer attend we cannot offer a refund. We will however try to fill your place and if successful will issue a refund, minus £10 admin fee.
